SR-9009 (Stenobolic)

SR9009 is commonly referred to as a SARM (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator) due to its classification, although it functions as an agonist of REV-ERB.

REV-ERB is a protein primarily found in adipose tissue, liver, muscle, and brain. It plays a role in regulating the circadian rhythm, also known as the "biological clock," of these tissues. The circadian rhythm encompasses a series of patterns that occur in our bodies throughout each day.

The development of SR9009 aimed to address sarcopenia, which is the age-related deterioration of skeletal muscle in the body.

An animal study demonstrated that stenobolic not only increased muscle mass and strength but also influenced the circadian rhythm, sparking interest among scientists.

In animal studies, SR9009 showed additional benefits, including improved endurance in mice, as well as reductions in anxiety, inflammation, and cholesterol levels. Mice administered with stenobolic exhibited enhanced running capabilities and improved concentration.
