¿Qué es SR9009 ?

SR9009 se clasifica generalmente para la simplicidad como SARM (moduladores selectivos del receptor del andrógeno), aunque es realmente un agonista de REV-ERB. 

El REV-ERB es una proteína que se encuentra principalmente en el tejido adiposo, el hígado, los músculos y el cerebro. Afecta al ritmo circadiano de estos tejidos, conocido comúnmente como "reloj biológico". Este ritmo se define como una serie de patrones que se producen en nuestro cuerpo durante cada día.

El SR9009 se creó para combatir la sarcopenia, la destrucción del músculo esquelético por el organismo relacionada con la edad.

Un estudio en animales demostró que, además de aumentar la masa muscular y la fuerza, el stenobolic también afecta a su ritmo circadiano, lo que intrigó a los científicos.

En estudios con animales, el SR9009 también mejoró la resistencia en ratones al tiempo que reducía la ansiedad, la inflamación y los niveles de colesterol. Los ratones a los que se administró el stenobolic corrían más y eran más capaces de concentrarse.
